FOOD AND DRUGS AUTHORITY (FDA) TRAINS KITCHEN STAFF
The Western North Regional Office of the Food and Drugs Authority in line with its work programme organized training for all Nineteen (19) kitchen staff of Nineida and Nineida Company Limited, a private food service provider at Paboase in the Sefwi Wiawso Municipality of the Western North Region
The facilitation team from the Food and Drugs Authority was led by Mr Albert Ankomah, the Regional Director, who took participants through good hygienic practices, the regulatory requirement for establishing and operating a kitchen and other food safety facilities among other related topics.
In a wrap up comments, the representative of Management of the Company expressed their appreciation to the Food and Drugs Authority for the training and pledged the commitment of the company to ensure that it provides facilities and protocols within its operational area to ensure that, the highest standards of food hygiene is attained to protect public health.
