Western North RCC Signs Performance Contracts with All the MDAs
The Western North Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) has successfully signed Performance Contracts with all nine (9) Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in the region, reaffirming its commitment to effective governance and improved service delivery.
The ceremony, held on 4th February 2026, brought together key stakeholders from across the region. The exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional performance and ensure that development objectives at the local level are achieved efficiently.
The Performance Contract framework is designed to promote accountability, enhance coordination among assemblies, and reinforce a results-oriented approach to public service delivery throughout the region.
Addressing participants at the event, the Regional Coordinating Director commended the Hon. Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) and officers of the Local Government Service for their dedication and continuous efforts toward advancing development in their respective districts. He further urged all stakeholders to remain committed to the implementation of the agreed targets to drive meaningful development and progress.
The RCC remains focused on fostering transparency, efficiency, and measurable outcomes in governance to support the overall development agenda of the Western North Region.
