Records Management Manual Training

The Western North Regional Co-ordinating in line with its mandate to train its staff on contemporary and innovative approaches in service delivery organized a two -day training for key selected staff of the Western North Regional Co-ordinating Council and the Municipal and District Assemblies in the Western North Region on the New Local Government Records Management Manual at the conference room of the Regional Coordinating Council.

The training was facilitated by Mr Seth Adomako Sarkodie, the Regional Human Resource Manager and Mr Percy Atukiya Ayamba, an Assistant Director I of the Western North Regional Co-ordinating Council

In all Thirty -Nine (39) participants comprising of an Administrative and two Records Management Unit drawn from all the Nine (9) Assemblies in the Region participated in the training.

In a welcome statement, the Director of Internal Audit who represented the Chief Director of the Western North Regional Co-ordinating Council urged the participants and accept innovation and turn a new leaf by using the newly developed protocol at their various Assemblies to help improve service delivery and also tasked the participants to form a committee involving the various heads of Department for a smooth transition of the new Records Management System and cooperate with other staff of the Assembly to support the activities of the Records Management Unit (RMU).
