WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL CO-ORDINATING COUNCIL TRAINS NEWLY RECRUITED INTERNAL AUDITORS 

The Western North Regional Coordinating Council in collaboration with GIZ, organized orientation and training workshop  for Internal Auditors of the Western North Regional Co-ordinating Council WNRCC and the Municipal and District Assemblies in the Region (MDAs) on the various protocols of the Local Government Service the training was held as part of the mandate of the WNRCC with the objective of facilitating the acquisition of knowledge and techniques required to perform effectively and efficiently perform their role as internal auditors.

The Five (5) member facilitation team made up of was led by the Chief Director, Mr Ebenezer Amoah with Mr Sulemana Ali, Director of Internal Audit WNRCC, Ms Elma Araba Halm Technical Assistant of GIZ (GOVID), Mr. Kingsley Milly, Head of Internal Audit -Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Assembly and Mr Seth Adomako Sarkodie, Head of Human Resource as co-facilitators.

In all, a total of thirty -four (34) newly recruited internal auditors from both the WNRCC and all the Assemblies in the Region participated in the training.

In his wrap up comment, the Chief Director admonished participants to support their Assemblies to ensure the judicious use to the scarce resources provided for the execution of their legal mandate.
