Commerce/Trade
Commercial/trading activities take place across the length and breadth of the Region, particularly at the Juaboso, Bodi, Bonsu Nkwanta, Bibiani as well as Sefwi Wiawso market places, where major agricultural produce and wood products are traded in. Both commercial and private vehicles significantly operate in the Region but are challenged by bad roads even though the transport sector provides employment opportunities for the people.
Services
The Regional and the district capitals can boast of Banking/Financial Services, hospitality and medical services. Telecommunications and other essential services like electricity and water though available, require improvement in quality and coverage.
